Memorial Day with the Family

Aunt Karen and Uncle Don had a cookout at their house.
We had sooo much fun with our cousins!
Terri and Alan - what a cute couple

Kara Dawn - I wish I had 1/2 of her energy

Becca - Striking a Pose
Pretty Girl!

AJ and Dev spent HOURS playing on their DS's.

Joel and Uncle Don/Papa Don

Devin loves Handy Dans (aka hand me downs) from his cousin AJ. When we got home, he dumped out the 2 bags of goodies and then burried himself under them. Precious and Lucy joined in the fun.

Unfortunately, the Carpenters' and Amanda weren't able to be there.
WE MISSED YOU ALL!!

Alan preformed his Fat Man on a Stick routine and Kara Dawn joined in.

Presenting Fat Man on a Stick and Pretty Girl on a Stick.

I think they should try out for America's Got Talent.

I saved the best for last. Sisters preformed by Karen and Kendall.
They are going to kill me for posting this. :-)

Hey Mr. DJ

We were coming home from Devin's baseball game tonight
and this song came on the radio.
He started "gettin' his grove on".
Then he asked if I would video him dancing and post it on our blog for the Carpenters.
So… here’s Dev dancing (???) to the music.
Yes, he got his rhythm from me (poor Devin).
He actually wanted to pose at the end back to back with our arms crossed.
I nixed that quickly. :-)

Hey Carpenterswhat about a dance off?!!

Snow Day

This was back in February.
Dev would go out and play for 15 minutes,
come back in to warm up and dry off,
then go back out for 15 minutes.

He was determined to make a snowman... don't blink or you'll miss that little lump of snow.

Dev and the Tornado

During a bad storm, the tornado sirens went off and our electricity flickered.
I told Dev I was going to the garage to get the flashlights.
When I came back, he was walking around with a flashlight on his head.

King of the Jungle

The children's musical at church was King of the Jungle.
This is dress rehearsal - can you tell he was tired?! :-)

First Grade Field Trip to Woolaroc

Devin's class went to Woolaroc for a field trip.
I'm not "outdoorsy" so I was dreading the day,
but we ended up having a blast.

They let the kids throw axes at a pile of wood.
Not sure which is scarier, Dev with an axe,
or the bearded man next to him.

Dev wasn't thrilled about the rope swing... lol

Strike a pose

Just playing around with the camera...

9 Days and Counting...

My 20th high school reunion is next weekend. I went through old photos last night and kept finding myself laughing out loud. I can't wait to see my old friends.

I am so glad I don't have to wear 6" bangs anymore but I wouldn't mind bringing back the blue eye shadow.

My junior prom - I actually wore a hoop under that skirt.

I got a little wiser for my senior prom and left the hoop at home. What a shock, my dress was pink.

A good old fashioned slumber party would't be fun without Cheese Balls.

Hello

Ok so I'm new to the blogging world, you'll have to bear with me. My sister set up an adorable page and two of my friends have great pages so I decided to give it a whirl.

More to come...
